The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) #IceBucketChallenge has gone VIRAL on the Internet in the name of a great cause! Okay, here are updates, just in case you haven’t been on the Internet… don’t worry… I won’t judge… maybe you were on vacay and didn’t have wifi 😉
The ALS Association is raising awareness of the debilitating neurodegenerative disease with these videos! People either donate $100 or they pour ice cold water all over themselves after nominating a few friends. A lot of people are even doing both – dumping water and donating! How fun! The videos have caught on like wildfire!
In fact, the ALS Association has already raised $15.6 Million through this movement! Woo Hoo! Let’s #StrikeOutALS and help find a cure! Come on guys, #DumpOrDonate!
What are the rules, you might ask
1) Within 24 hours of being challenged, dump a bucket of ice cold water on yourself while catching everything on video!
2) After completing the challenge, nominate others to dump a bucket of ice cold water, donate to the ALS Association, or both!
3) Share the video and use the hashtags #icebucketchallenge, #alsicebucketchallenge, and #strikeoutals!
