10 COMMANDMENTS FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING JAMB/WAEC/NECO AFTER-SCHOOL OR "EXTRA" CLASSES IN NIGERIA

BASED ON 10 COMMANDMENTS FOR STUDENTS WHO ATTENDED PASS TUTORIAL COLLEGE (PTC),FESTAC TOWN,LAGOS

PREAMBLE
PTC,our sister college at another location for many years started operations before Mason College came into
being. It was a tutorial college which was the flagship for its kind then. Being a tutorial college, it brought together many students who were re-taking exams and were not wearing school uniforms.Unfortunately they thought they could wear or do whatever they liked too! So a set of guidelines known as the 10 SPECIAL COMMANDMENTS had to be put up like drawing a line in the sand.Students were told to commit them to heart or have them in written format with them at all times. Please read on and tell us what you think of them!

TEN COMMANDMENTS
1.Thou shall not let irrelevant matters distract thy attention from  studies. Thou shall not leave thy house each day only for networking purposes or following thy friends  around sheepishly after lectures
2.Thou shall not make or join in making any “RUNS” ‘EXPO, or ‘ODU’ material or any in their likeness. If caught thou shall be expelled.
3.Thou shall not bow down thyself to any person, friend or classmate who may want to deceive thou to cheat during internal  and external examinations face to face or through the internet.
4.Thou shall not register as a student  in vain, as a joke, or just as an excuse for leaving your house each day
5.Honor thy tutors and thy books. Thou shall not be late to or absent from school.
6..Remember thy tests and mock exams and keep thy heads and hands holy and clean.
7.Honor thy father and  thy mother who paid thy fees at P.A.S.S and remember the economic situation in the country.
8.Thou shall not commit ‘RAPID RESPONSE’ offenses like writing graffiti on school walls or smoking in the toilets.
9.Thou shall not bear false witness at school of what thou art not and cannot be allowed to be by thy parents at home.
10.Thou shall not covet the shoes, or bags, or belts, or clothes, or hairdo of thy classmates as these shall only distract thy attention.

So help thou, O God. Amen.
